We, Gabi Wiesenbart and Dirk Bühring, are very lucky to have a common dream!
What began as an idea during a vacation in Bordeaux, we now realize as hosts in our Bed & Breakfast called “Ois”.
We love beautiful landscapes, good food and wine and so we were drawn from Munich to sunny Southern Palatinate.
“Ois” is the Bavarian expression for EVERYTHING. We also like to translate it as DIVERSITY. It stands for everything we offer our guests in the future, for the diversity of the landscapes with the Palatinate Forest and the vineyards, the lovely, open people and the numerous culinary offerings for gourmets and wine lovers.
When we fell in love with the listed vineyard on the edge of the small wine village of Siebeldingen near Landau, our aim was to create a place that combines the 300-year history of the vineyard with modern comfort, a retreat and space for encounters and enjoyment.
In order to provide you with advice and assistance, to introduce you to the diversity of the wines and the exciting history of the region, we have completed training with the internationally recognized Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET 3), are “Cultural and Wine Ambassadors” for the Palatinate and “Recognized Advisors for German Wine”.
